Policies

As a small business owner, I do have policies, they are outlined below, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

PROCESS
Items are made in a pet friendly, smoke free, bug free home. Most items have a turn around time of 3-5 days. Bigger items like cloaks have a turn around of 2-3 weeks. Blankets will have a turn around time of 6-10 weeks depending on complexity. 

SHIPPING
Items are shipped from my home in Trenton, Ohio, via USPS Priority with insurance and tracking information. Any local pickups will be in a public location. Once tracking information shows that the package has been received at the post office, I am no longer involved in any delivery issues. I ship to the address provided from you via PayPal. Please make sure your account is updated with your current address. 

PAYMENT
Payments must be made with Paypal. Tax is charged on all items in the state of Ohio. Custom orders require a 50% deposit made upfront. 

RETURNS
All items are non-returnable. Should something need to be returned for repair, the buyer will incur the return cost of shipping. If an item is defective, found and returned within 30 days will be replaced as long as the item has not been washed or worn. 

Please inspect any and all items upon receipt for accuracy and quality prior to washing and drying. In the event of a manufacturing defect, please contact me as soon as possible at laces.and.stitches@gmail.com. Please include your name, email, item name or description of product, description of issue and pictures of the defect. 

Because items are customed ordered and made to your specifications, exchanges cannot be made. 

REFUNDS
Refunds are given in special circumstances. Returns will not be offered on items that have been washed or worn. Upon receipt of a defective item, Laces and Stitches will provide a replacement, repair, refund (minus shipping costs) or store credit. 


WARRANTY
Snaps: Lifetime*
Elastic: 90 days
Sewing/Workmanship: 60 days

Warranty is void when:
  • Washing instructions have not been followed
  • The item has been altered in any way
*If a snap defect occurs, Laces and Stiches will provide a prepaid shipping label for you to return your item for snap repair within the first 30 days. After 30 days, the buyer will be responsible for shipping the item for repair. 

CANCELLATION
You can cancel your order within 24 hours of payment. If your item has been prepared for shipping, you may be required to pay shipping fees, and a restocking fee of 10%.

DISCLAIMER
I cannot guarantee any fabric due to the difference in washing processes.
Laces and Stitches is not responsible for items damaged or lost in the shipping process.
